Dr. Alexander (“Xan”) Bozzo is Assistant Professor of Philosophy and Director of the Center for Applied Ethics at the University of Wisconsin-Stout Polytechnic.

Dr. Bozzo decided to start Ethics in Practice, LLC to make PDH ethics certification more enjoyable and less of a chore—focusing more on discussion-oriented sessions, and big picture framing.

He has over fifteen years of teaching experience at the college level, has published in top tier academic journals, and has led many ethics training sessions throughout the years. He has a passion for discussing the ethical questions that animate and excite us all.

Instructor

Lucas Morgan is a Lecturer in the Robert F. Cervenka School of Engineering at UW–Stout Polytechnic with a background in manufacturing engineering and operations leadership.

He teaches engineering ethics along with a variety of mechanical and manufacturing engineering courses. Prior to joining UW-Stout, Lucas held engineering and operations leadership roles within the manufacturing industry, leading multidisciplinary engineering teams, managing capital and automation projects, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. He was recognized with a SOAR Award at a Fortune 500 manufacturer for leading key aspects of a major packaging redesign that transitioned a plastic consumer package to a paper blister solution.

Drawing on both industry and classroom experience, Lucas is passionate about helping engineers develop the technical judgment, ethical decision-making, and professional responsibility needed to lead with integrity.
